Golden Hour Maternity Session on the Lake

It was the perfect early summer evening as I arrived for this maternity session at one of my favorite photo spots at The Round Lake Preserve in Mechanicville, NY. My client was a gorgeous mama to be who was so excited to be capturing her pregnancy glow on such perfect day. The golden hour sunset was just…. AMAZING!

As we walked through the preserve, we could hear the crickets and peepers and smell the fresh grass and flowers. The parents-to-be wandered into an overgrown hayfield that was the perfect backdrop for some shots as well. What I love about this location as well, is how quiet it is. My clients and I can get through an entire shoot with hardly seeing anyone else in the park. It’s a little hidden gem.
