A picture perfect June Wedding in Lake George. The Inn at Erlowest is a gorgeous castle venue located in the heart of Lake George, NY. It was the perfect backdrop for Ariel and Andre’s wedding. On a beautiful Sunday morning, I met the bride in her townhouse as she was getting ready with all of her bridesmaids. They sipped Champagne as they got their hair and make up done. The guys were next door in their own townhouse, which made going back and fourth for “getting ready photos” a breeze.
Their Ceremony was at a Russian Summer camp near Great Sacandaga Lake, where the couple originally met many years ago. There was a beautiful outdoor church in the middle of the pines. Their wedding ceremony was of Russian Orthodox faith, which I had never witnessed before, but was amazed at how beautiful everything came together. The couple exchanged rings before walking down the aisle. The ceremony was filled with many prayers and lots of singing of traditional Russian hymns.
After the ceremony, we hopped on a party bus with the bridal party and headed back to the Inn at Erlowest where we took portraits with the bridal party and bride and groom! The Inn catered an amazing dinner, followed by lots of tear filled speeches from the couples closest friends and family. The bride shared a dance with her father in matching cowboy boots and hats. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. And then it was time to party! An amazing live band kept the party alive all night long! And to wrap up the night, the bride and groom had enough McDonald’s delivered to feed all of their guests! SUCH a fun idea!
