Kathryn and Jeremiah’s wedding day started at Seaside on the Lake in Lake George where the gorgeous bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready with hair and makeup! The guys were across the road at the Marriott hanging out and getting fresh haircuts. (perks of the groom being a barber!) It was a picture perfect day for a summer wedding!
The venue is definitely one of the hidden gems of the Lake George area. The Promise Gardens of the Adirondacks is a huge property overlooking the mountains with beautiful barns, gardens, bridal suite, and reception tent.
The ceremony was beautiful, and thankfully not very long, because although their wedding was in May, it was about 99 degrees outside! Jeremiah’s reaction to seeing his bride to be walk down the aisle was so sincere. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.
With a 16 person bridal party, portraits after the ceremony were a bit hectic but SO much fun. And I loved every second of the newlywed’s bridal portraits. The way they soaked in each other’s love was just unbelievable. The camera absolutely loves them. Jeremiah is a photography lover himself so he requested to snap some of his own photos of his new bride and it such a special moment.
The bride and groom shared a beautiful first dance and off to the dinner tent they went. Before dinner was served, some very emotional, touching speeches were shared. I was totally tearing up behind my camera. (shhhhhhh… lol)
Then it was time to party. And this group knew just how to do that! The bride kicked off her heels with the help of her groom and they all danced the night away. Capturing Kathryn and Jeremiah’s beautiful day was an incredible honor, and I cannot wait to work with them again in the future!
